That is absolutely incorrect and an example of believing your own ideology. What you blame as the cause of our debt is PART of the problem. And now we have gone full circle to lead us back to my point that Krugman made - that is is all the fault of one political ideological group. Bullshit! Look at the cost for the safety net programs going forward. If that doesn't scare the bejeevies out of you - then you're not paying attention. The left blames it ALL on the right saying it is their refusal to raise taxes. Ya, but so what! They have that right. That is what democracy is all about. Vote them out, compromise with them or figure out some other solution - but to just whim about them has done nothing to fix the problem that just gets worse and worse. Sucks sometimes being a democracy huh?
