Nokita aims to outbid Microsoft for Nokia’s business
October 30, 2013 | By Surur

Soliciting billions of euros in a bid to purchase a company is not the usual way of going about business, with not even Blackberry going down that route.

Despite this a movement called Nokita intends to tackle Microsoft and place a competing bid for Nokia’s handset division, claiming the division is worth more than 4 times the 5.4 billion Euro Microsoft is paying for it.

They intend to take 25% of the smartphone market by selling both Android, Linux and Windows Phones, and by creating phones which are fun, educational and safe.

Now I suspect Nokita is not going to raise 5 billion Euro via YouTube for a competing bid, but do our readers think Microsoft got Nokia’s handset division for a song (bearing in mind that most value it at $0 due to continuing losses)? Let us know below.
