There is not question that heavily subsidized young adults will do fine under Obamacare. What I don't understand is why Obamacare was deliberately designed to force middle class young adults with incomes above the subsidy threshold subsidize old adults regardless of how wealthy the old are. To put it simply, I don't understand why my son, who makes a lot less than I do, has to subsidize people like me and others my age. He is already heavily subsidizing the current Medicare/Social Security cohort.
