I didn't read the article but the headline isn't totally wrong.

We looked aggressive and undiplomatic yesterday.

Standard response should be - "we don't think this is the way to go and we don't think people will save money for a variety of reasons. We believe there are other, less expensive options that we can offer the uninsured. The ideas were presented and rejected in 2009. If our concerns come to pass we believe we need to re-visit Obamacare after the '14 elections."

Leave it alone. Let it fail and let the court of public opinion rule next Nov. after the dust settles
