Finally some official info on 6515 now that Google announce the Nexus 5, interesting InvenSense continue to communicate they add benefit in processing sensor data on chip instead of waking the AP or using an MCU. Not sure how OEMs really see that bearing in mind all the other sensors in a typical smartphone that are outside the scope of what InvenSense provide/process. Guess its down to which sensor data is needed in order for these context aware etc algorithms to work. Does look more convincing for InvenSense with a 7-axis or higher axis chip though. That can't come soon enough. Sure it would help ASP, OEM BOM costs and in turn design wins.

PS Good to win both the 6-axis and the OIS in Nexus 5 like the LG G2.
