We did that once. We put out a large bowl with a similar sign. The first group that came by was 4 or 5 young teenagers who promptly emptied the entire bowl. We haven't done it since.

Now when a kid who looks to be of teenage, they get one piece. The younger ones get two or three. When they show up and they're as tall as I am, they get nothing.
