It appears many of us who paid for Lifetime subscriptions in 1997 or earlier have been re-classified as 'Veterans'. So we get the advertisements. I see those who paid in 1998 or later, appear to have kept their Lifetime designation.
So, those of us who supported SI financially when the service was just getting started, and who have stayed with it all these years, get downgraded? This makes no sense. SI management needs to reconsider this.
I certainly reconsider my membership when I have to stare at a big pink 'adblock' message at the top of each
page.... or wait for a page to load while an animated ad comes into view.
