This story is only good if you trust me that it is 100% true. After asking the question last night about why no art (consciousness?) before 40,000 years ago which was stimulated by reading Sawyer, I picked up an old issue of Scientific American lying around my house for awhile and low and behold the issue dated May on it had an in depth article titled human hybrids.

I have not read the article yet, but the header says: DNA analysis finds the early Homo Sapiens mated with other human species and hint that such interbreeding played a key role in the triumph of our kind.

Very spooky coincidence. The copy had been folded over months? My SA often go unread for a while as they are heavier reading than I am usually in the mood for and I have a zillion magazines and books lying around.

So I will read the article today.

Scanning the article: Denisovan finger bone: " genome sequence showed that this individual belonged to a population that was slightly more closely related to Neandertals, than it or Neandertals were to our species . "the team found a significant amount of DNA from Denisovan -like population-a contribution of 1 to 6% in Melanesians, Aboriginal Australians, Polynesians and some related groups in the Western Pacific, but not in Africans or Eruasians!?

So we are some type of soup mixture of many sub species or races, that were roaming the earth 80,000 to 20,000 years ago, it looks like?
