You are right about di Blasio and his coming victory. I guess the vox populi will always want its bread and circuses. Can you remember what Times Square was like before it got cleaned up and how the NYC narrowly escaped bankruptcy back in the days?

IMHO, di Blasio's approach if left unchecked will lead to return of those yester years. He and Koan have the same political philosophy as far as I can tell. Da Mayor is a confessed European Democratic Socialist which means higher taxes and higher spending and damn the torpedos-- and probably soft approach on crime.

And you know, I just don't know you can accuse me of McCarthyism for calling a spade a spade. McCarthy would do that to anyone who disagreed with him--call them a communist or communist sympathizer, but I was just telling it like is. Guess I'm not the only one here who is a "labeler".
