ASND already had Layer 3 routing switches similar to those of Ipsilon. They are GRF 400 and GRF1600. The GRF's architecture combines its layer 3 switch w/ intelligent IP forwarding Madia cards to deliver scalable performance. The GRF 1600 supports 16 Gbps and up to 16 media cards.
