The remarks about developing a tool for a Windows-specific version of Java tells me that Del really should go back to the hardware business. That's really never going to fly because you might as well use Visual Basic if you are going that route. If Borland has anything to do with supporting a Java split then I wish them all the worst as IBM and others crush the living daylights out of them with Visual Age and other enterprise tools. There isn't any reason why a portable layer cannot be placed on top of a high-powered VM which itself has native calls. Obviously Del doesn't get it and hopefully somebody can explain it to him, a speak-n-say picture book might help.
