| | | slowmo, I vividly remember the day that bit¢h said that. I was completely flabbergasted. It's just unimaginable that someone in Congress, let alone the Speaker of the House, would actually admit that they were about to pass a bill into law despite not knowing what was in it and not having read it.
To this day, I cannot get my mind wrapped around that. It's like trying to imagine the "last (largest) number". I simply can't imagine it.
On that day, I realized that reality had completely changed and that we were all living in a new reality; a reality of criminals and utter stupidity that is beyond belief or even imagination.
They actually passed a bill into law that no one in Congress knew the contents of, yet they voted for it. If you can figure that out, please clue me in. I cannot make my mind work like that, beyond simply understanding that Congress is filled with crooks, frauds, and thieves who are so cocky and arrogant that they smugly issue "in your face" statements like Pelosi did that day. "Here comes a new law! We don't what's in it, but we're voting it into law, and we'll learn what's in it later."
