Of course not, I am saying we should employ science now to solve our social problems. Empathy is in our genes we did not get it from religion. I have no idea how religious beliefs affected human evolution? All I said was that I thought consciousness came first and religion second. I thought you said it was the other way around? <<And how does that relate to the role of religious beliefs in human evolution during our prehistoric times? Are you saying that a 100000 years ago our ancestors should have done science instead? Well they couldn't and didn't.
