Others have pointed out that shamen were the first to create food silos allowing their societies to create an administrative class and prospering. Evolution is not a straight line and is very complex. Religious beliefs played a strong part in it. >> I am saying we should employ science now to solve our social problems. I tend to agree. But I don't think everyone in our society is ready for that yet. Meaning that their genetic makeup dose not allow them to buy into a purely scientific methodology. They need the emotional and mystic appeal of religion. So the society as a whole has to find a way to cater to both camps. ST
