Thanks for the post -- much too quiet here, lately. I am disappointed with the level (frequency, not content) of the posts here. The SI message-board system is superior to all others I have used -- even IV. This is particularly true recently, when IV has suffered some "growing pains" brought on by fault-laden attempts to improve that site.



I believe the main reason for the apparent lack of interest in BSDM is the dearth of company news about expanded sales, which should be happening due to the Terumo contract. That dearth does not bother me much (though I do not like it) because I expect it. I would be very surprised if the Terumo contract did not contain restrictions on news releases by BSD Medical. In strategic alliances between a mfg company and a marketing company, it is more-or-less standard for news to be controlled by the marketing arm. And, the marketing company commonly considers the news to be very sensitive – they need success to be publicized but do not want to attract competition; conflicting goals. Also, larger companies – as is very much the case here – can be more patient in revealing new-product success.



Also, I think BSDM probably welcomes a new stance – that of an “established” company that reports sales as (mainly) $-amounts at quarterly periods; not each sale that occurs.
