Chinu, You can bet on Republicans to self destruct by continuing to debate amongst themselves on what is good for the country. Christie is the only Republican candidate that can pose a modicum of a challenge to Hillary. You can tell that 2016 will be a "do or die" for the Republican party when it comes to Presidential elections.

You can bet that if Hillary runs, then all woman votes, including Republican will go for her (90 to 10). And then because of Bill and Obama the African American and the Hispanic votes will go for Hillary. So the Republicans will be left with only the White men and that too non-labor union ones. Let us not forget that Christie is very much against unions and more often than once he has publicly insulted labor union members in his "meet and greet" gatherings.

I completely agree, Chinu. Although, I'd much rather, and we've all said this at one time or another, a strong R party without its extremists to be a high-functioning force in our politics…….

The politics of the 70s seems like idyllic Mayberry compared to what we have now.
