So are saying you think most of the worlds top PHD climatologists are not worried about global warming?

Or are you saying they don't know what they are talking about?

Yes there are other gases that warm the planet like methane which is 25 times the greens house gas.

Do you realize we have already had a mass extinction due to the earth getting too warm: the Permian age where 95% of all life on earth went extinct.

Venus is what can happen with runaway greens house gases.

PS over 90% of the top climatologists believe in AGW.

As far as hurricanes go, dry air and wind shear can prevent them and both were a factor this year.

So what are you saying?

<,
I have news for you Koan. CO2 is not a pollutant like smog is. CO2 is a natural element in the atmosphere that helps regulate atmospheric temperature and enables photosynthesis that lets plant life grow on Earth.

So what if humans are raising the levels of atmospheric CO2 beyond what they would have normally been? Of course it'll have an effect, but the climate has literally an infinite number of variables that all dictate how change will take place. CO2 is just one of those variables.

I've heard so-called "scientists" come out and make wild-ass claims on how elevated CO2 levels would lead to more hurricanes, yet that prophecy didn't come true.

Even Bill Nye, "The Science Guy," wanted to change the phrase "global warming" to "global heating" or "global cooking," but recent data on temperatures are showing a much less dramatic change than what Nye suggested.

Boiling the planet? No respectable scientist would make that claim without any ulterior motives. Hyperbole has no place in scientific discussion.
