>> Its amazing that they thought Reagan come up with that line.

Unlike the idiot currently in the WH, Reagan did often come up with his own lines. In the instance of "Tear Down This Wall" -- the most important line spoken by a president during the last half of the century -- there has been a bit of a dispute about whether Reagan did or did not write it. Reagan wouldn't care.

What was important is that he was man enough to say it -- even while on the flight over, the State Dept was trying to pull it out of the speech and there were numerous phone calls arguing the point. Ultimately, Reagan believed it was a demand that needed to be made.

If Barack Obama had said it, it would have meant nothing. Coming from Reagan, it was enough to change the world.
