I do agree it is about feeling good. When I help people I feel good.

No, we actually care. I think I know how I feel about things and how my friends feel. I have been helping the poor my whole life and I am now an old man. I am pretty well off, and don't need any help, nor does any of my family, but have been around the poor all my life. And I hate to see people struggle.

It is like those who didn't give a shit about segregation and the fact the blacks were being beaten up for no reason at all. We liberals stepped in and helped them fight for equality and why they vote over 90% dem in each election. The blacks know we liberals are trusted friends.

We liberals seldom use welfare, we are fighting for those who cannot fight so well for themselves.

I would guess the reason you cannot understand people who have compassion for the less fortunate is because you don't feel it.

So let me tell you, empathy and compassion is exactly what motivates us. And nothing more.

It is like when you see a bully beating up some little guy. Many will not care, but liberals will step in and help!

Liberals always claim that they're trying to help people, but they're only helping themselves. It's all about feeling good.
