Nothing too much wrong with some forms of Child Labor.

Heck, when I was a kid in Jr. HIgh School, we were the "migrant laborers" when school got out for the summer.

You went out to the farms and "applied" hoping they were going to call you back to pay you $2 an hour for a 12 hour day crawling in the dirt, from sun up to sun down. Not including the ride out to the farm, which they provided since we were way to young to drive ourselves. Came back home hoping the phone would ring....

Taught us the value of a "dollar".

The other night I saw this old guy talking about his childhood. He grew up in an orphanage.. They asked him what he did when he left the orphanage at 18. He stated he was long gone by age 18, because the farmers would come and pick up all the kids at the orphanage when the kids turned 13. Put them up in the barn, provided their meals, and put them to work. The guy said he thought it was the best thing to ever happen to him.
