The auditors are not allowed give out or discuss the kind of information to which you are referring. They only sign the audit opinion at year-end, and in many cases, don't even issue a "Report" on quarterly financial information. There is a "client-auditor" confidentiality relationship similar to that of an attorney. Anyone is welcome to try, but I will assure you that you will get next to nothing out of the auditors.
