I believe that to be right... "So, gld makes "owner per oz" statistics meaningless?" It also make the dollar price of Gold and Silver distorted in a big way. Either it has become a shadow markit or rehypothecated to the moon. I am also under the impression the the $1300 level seems to be a floor it can't break, someone loves it at that price? That's probably the kiss of death.
