i like tipping...it is a good way of "incentivizing" good service.. years ago, we had set out a huge amount of lawn bags (leaves raked from our wooded property)....there must have been 20 or 25 bags....(this was back before trash was regulated to the extent it is today) anyway, when the trash guy showed up, i happened to be there and you could see on his face he was not happy...i felt bad so i grabbed my wallet and ran out to give him a tip (all i had was $20's) so i hand him a $20 and thanked him ...the look of surprise and smile on his face was priceless <gg>
