So how the hell did the Dems hold back Bush/Cheney when they were enabling them?
Many of those Dems were for the war before they were against it. The most famous of them was John Kerry, who said he voted for the $87B in funding before he voted against it.

Does that sound like a man who was committed to making the Iraq War a success?
