Looking at that chart, I just had an inspiration on how to make an easy, safe mint on this market! First, buy all the index mutual funds you can, with all dividends to be reinvested. Then have your head frozen. You won't be able to sell! No panics! Even if we have a bear market, by the time technology gets around to resuscitating you, you will be worth a lot. -- Carl
