Patrick... revisited this article you linked on gold etfs fracturing the traditional metals markets...

One could extrapolate from this that ETFs... as an extension of the trade and large commodity players represent another facet of speculation that could 'blow up' like the derivatives and housing in 2008.

That any derivative connected to a commodity would become worthless under serious pressures, but not the futures contract. Makes me hesitate on holding anything like this overnight.

Might be... we'd better off going back to the 3min charts.
