Not really. On this scale defense is a secondary issue. Esp. so if you consider only the amount the might get cut from it rather than the whole budget. Sure its responsible to look to it for cost containment as well, but unless something serious is done about entitlements no possible defense cut will make much difference in the overall budget outlook.
