| Shield Gold (SHG-V) has identified over 100 geophysical targets on its Diamond, Diamond West, Bell and Powerline graphite properties in southwest Quebec. The claims are near some old graphite mines, including Walker and Diamond, which are supporting new promotions. Mr. Gorman, CEO, says Shield will prioritize its targets and conduct exploration "in areas that will return quantifiable results." (It is hard to imagine a geologist seeking intangibles, but Mr. Gorman must talk big since he has little cash to play with.) He says Shield has a budget that will tie in nicely with metallurgical work the company is currently undertaking, work that will "allow the corporation to understand where the graphite mineralization occurs." (Drilling, apparently, is a luxury for promoters with more cash and less understanding of their deposits.) Shield expects metallurgical results late this year, the prioritization of targets will follow." |
