A murderer is another thing altogether, as no sane person would pursue such activity and keep doing it. Could a saved person snap and kill someone? Sure, but if they were truly saved, they would confess and repent for the act.

On the contrary, I think there is plenty of unrepentant serial murdering going on in churches and between churches because in Matt 5:22 Jesus equated unjust anger, even in his own disciples since he addresses them as well, to murder. He said that puts them in danger of hell fire. James 4 condemns those he's writing to as lusting and murdering, making them friends with the world and enemies of God. A believer who hates his brother does not have eternal life. 1 John 3:14-15, "He who does not love his brother abides in death. Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him." So, if they're truly saved, let them repent of hate and malice.
