The description of ihub here is quite old. I sold iHub and SI to ADVFN in 2006, but I left in 2009, buying Silicon Investor in the process (that makes twice I've bought it now and I used to be just the Admin there), so it's not true that ADVFN operates Silicon Investor. I do. I and I alone! Bwahhahhahhahhaahaa...

Okay, here's my real point. Is it good or bad that there are no complaints here about Silicon Investor? Are we the shiznit, cat's pajamas, all that and a bag o' chips, or have we simply fallen off the radar?

Actually, I'm going with the first 3. Though iHub dwarfs SI now (yeah, that's how I roll -- get laid off by Company A, take over Company B, make it huge until it's taking market share from Company A and weaken enough that I can buy it, fix problems with it in business model and technology, sell it to Company C, then quit a few years later, buying it back from Company C, then scratch my head and other areas (it's good to work alone) and wonder where all the traffic went I remembered the place having, then realize iHub stole my marketshare. Or, more correctly, I stole its marketshare for iHub's benefit when SI was owned by some buttheads in Seattle.

Which is cool by me so long as it makes enough to survive. Size is cool as is the moneythat goes with it. But I wouldn't trade it for the chaos I see on bigger sites. I love the fact that I don't have many knuckle-draggers posting on my site. By that measure, what an amazing success the site is!!! 6bb346

A spoof? Pretty accurate. "or have we simply fallen off the radar." Yes. Mostly because old members had bad experiences and moved on.
