This is what cracks me up. You guys take a 15 year period and think that proves your point.
What cracks me up is that you think that a computer model that was wrong for 15 of the 23 years it covered is somehow evidence that it is a model that can be used to justify the disruption of our economy, trillions of dollars of taxes and trillions of dollars of government spending. We aren't using the fact that the model was wrong for 66% of the time as evidence for our argument. We are saying that the model obviously can't be used to support theirs.

We're talking about very long term trends here. When you look at the long trends and you see stable trends, until the industrial revolution started and then you start to see a hockey stick, then you know the process has become unstable and that a new variable has been introduce.
No, We, Bilow, Mel221 and I are talking about long term trends and cycles. You and the climatologists are talking about 150 years at the most and usually about 50 years. Both are meaningless timeframes.
