So let's see if I understand this, WiLAN signed a license agreement and patent exchange deal that sees WiLAN paying Samsung $30M over the next 2 years (maybe longer).

In the process, that deal effectively makes WiLAN an unattractive takeover target for Samsung and presumably for Apple as well since WiLAN's patents would be a weak bargaining chip for Apple if already licensed to Samsung....

So how exactly was this deal in the best interests of shareholders????

Given there is a war going on with court awards in the billions, would it not have been in shareholders' best interests to remain unlicensed to these 2 entities?!?!
