We're in this strange pattern right now where almost every day has turned out better than the forecast. I am not complaining.

Looks like tomorrow will be pretty soupy, but personally I'll put up with the rain in order to get the warmer temperatures. In between the systems the sun comes out and it is gloriously warm, well above the average daily high of 9 degrees, and the nights stay well above freezing when this pattern is in place.

I actually picked enough green beans in the garden for a meal the other day, because there has been no frost yet. The average date for first frost in Vancouver is Nov. 5, but so far we've only had one night that even came close, and it doesn't like like frost for at least the next week, so maybe I'll get one last pick in.
