i don't think there is anything much impressive about the sight of me on a plane. a rather sorry spectacle all in all. 'specially if someone is trying to reason with me and explain the plane is not going to fall. unhuh. you'd get a better response from a ferret than me at that moment. studyed aerodynamics as a youngster and they gave me all those good scientific reasons why planes fly through the air and get from one place to the next. i don't care. isn't a thing in the world could convince me when i'm on that plane that it ain't about to fall down. and i look around at all the placid, happy people eatin' peanuts and chattin' like they aren't about to fall a bunch of thousands of feet to the ground. taht's very confusing. i think - you poor fools you just don't know. but then we arrive at our destination and we haven't fallen and they were right and i was wrong. and i'm exhausted and feeling just a little silly. but i'm used to taht.
