ARRS had no idea of the wifi speed that is needed for cable TV users. I have now RCN /n at 130 mbps. Which can be 2 mBps. 120 mB downloads takes 1 minute. RCN can satisfy all wifi demands because webpages are much less content. Software downloads maybe 300 mBs. Cable plants do not need more hardware for wifi communication. Minimum wifi cable modem installation at $29.95/month is a bargain for supplier as well as users.
