Art, I think you are right about DB2 causing Oracle problems. It is amazing how IBM can drop when a competitor reports bad results caused by IBM success. A recent incident was Seagate reporting bad results in part because Big Blue was making a big comeback in disk storage. IMHO tech stock volatility has many investors running scared and making bad decisions. When a sector with close to the best long term growth prospects is underperforming 50% of the market per IBD's relative strength index, something does not compute. This fear should drive IBM up relative to the sector. The sector should do better than the general market in the near term. At least that is where I am putting my money. Scott
