Helping a few at the expense of trashing the majority is not a good thing.

And what is your answer to the Republican controlled states who are refusing the medicaid expansion?
They are doing it because of fiscal responsibility. It's simple. If medicaid is the way to go, then have Obama expand medicare for everyone. Oh yeah, the health insurance industry opposed that so he killed it along with single payer.

Purely out of spite, and at no cost to these states they are refusing health care for the poorest people who don't have it
That's a crock. the States will be on the hook for expanded medicaid and to the benefit of the insurance companies..

Not only is it a morally bankrupt position, but it is not cost effective in the long run, like telling people to go to an emergency room (Bush's plan for universal healthcare)

This is where your ranting that the Dems/liberals/progressives are just as bad as the extremist right wingers fails miserably

You just seem to hate ALL govt... you seem to have given up on believing our govt can do anything positive
I despise spineless Democrats that rant about right wing policies but clap enthusiastically when their own leaders push through the same law.
