JimIsJim, I've yet to figure out why the government distinguishes between crude oil and products made from crude oil, where they allow virtually unrestricted export of oil products yet don't allow export of crude oil. If anything it would be more logical if they restricted the export of oil products vs. crude since by that point it has turned into something that we can use here.
