Mr Oberteuffer's comments are interesting, and as far as I know (which isn't much about the technology itself), valid. But I'm not convinced (this is where you let out a big sigh of frustration).
Here's what would convince me. Fonix and some of you have said that fonix is not really in competition with the likes of LHSPF, Dragon, and IBM, but rather that their products will work better with fonix's technology.
Now the way I figure, NO ONE knows voice recognition better than the folks at LHSPF, Dragon, and IBM. If there's a technology out there that would give them an advantage over their competitors, or accelerate the acceptance of their product by making it better, it seems like they'd jump at it.
So I'd like to see one of these real experts sign a deal with fonix, or for someone to explain to me why they wouldn't, or haven't yet. Perhaps even Mr. Oberteuffer, since he's on the fonix board, could speak to this.
