Jerome, Yes, I have writing covered calls against my dividend payers for years - nice steady income. Sometimes it gets dicey when they run up too fast, like in the last year. I don't like to let them get called away (low cost basis => capital gains tax) so I am constantly watching ex-dividend dates for deep ITM calls and roll them early.
