Al, we all make mistakes. I made the mistake of stating that Nextel is now in Argentina. They are, but have been since 1996.

You made the mistake of stating that mutual funds don't invest in Nextel. Take a look at the SEC filings. One of Nextels largest shareholders is Putnam. Moreover, institutional shareholders of Nextel own about 40+% of the stock and I would bet a large portion of those entities are mutual funds.

The world is Nextel's oyster and it is harvesting the pearls.
