Hello Larry, Although you post module prices, not the chip prices,
I thought you and several others on this thread would like to know
that according to DataQuest, the DRAM spot market has really tanked
in the last two weeks:

Spot Market Pricing (Dollars)
FPM EDO
1Mbx4 1.12-1.35 0.85-0.95
1Mbx16 2.65-3.00 2.10-2.45

Source: Dataquest (December 1997)

Some of these prices are a whole dollar lower than two weeks ago!!!

I decided to post this after I read your latest homepage offering.
There's something I'd like to point out about that post. The SIA
said that the historical decline in bit prices was 45% per year, but
it used to be 30% per year for a long time. I wonder how they think
an acceleration like that can be sustained.

Comments anyone???
