Apparently, your stock didn't find too many buyers(Tom, Dick or Harry) today. Nor has it fared well over the past several years vs. UAL, AMR, DAL, or even U for that matter!

Please check the action of the stock in the past several WEEKS rather than years. From around $6 13/16 to $11 7/8 high today...that's about an 85% increase.

Do you consider CAI, NWA, LUV, and ALK "second rate carriers" as well? I totally agree that TWA is a second-tier carrier. However it is a value play, and I bought at $7 11/16 about 3 weeks ago, so I'm holding for the long term.

If you are the astute investor you claim to be, you would already know the reason why I like TWA. Hint: try reading the previous 100 or so posts. Do your own DD.
