11/15/13 Contest Update
Despite a dive by SRPT, held in 7 Contest portfolios, the Contest median had a outstanding week and closed Friday up 54.29% YTD (vs. up 46.84% YTD a week ago). Broader indexes also did well, with the Nasdaq Biotech Index finishing the week up 54.89% YTD (vs. up 49.12% YTD a week ago) and the Nasdaq Composite Index up 32.01% YTD (vs. up 29.80% YTD a week ago).
Our leader RKRW’s portfolio put on another boffo show, closing Friday with a 149.97% YTD gain. ROBO’s portfolio held on to second place with a 125.25% YTD gain and BIOMAV’s portfolio up 105.65% YTD, took over third place.
At Friday's close, 36 of the 39 Contest portfolios were in the black with 19 of the 39 beating the NBI.
