CT- I think he has compiled his note from our thread--gggg- Love it and solidly behind it. In markets you need a definite posture the Oct Nov voltality is now referred as noise what counts is that we are not at 750 on SPZ but 979 - yes admittedly path ahead is strewn with lot of difficult terrain but earnings surprises will be more on upside then downside- like my huge positions on shorting bonds and analogy of potential double whammy who predicted bonds to fly as market retreat I will come out ultimately right- a test of low is a legitimate movement- why be afraid of that- Yes to stick one's neck out and predict a trend is the name of the game- that is what markets are about - for me my best trade is SNE bought in carnage selling 75 buying 80- when world seemed to have collapsed in Japan- it is then fools like us step in. This is my story 'recession' out 'inflation' out 'corporate profits' growing in non-inflationary environment.

That is my bottom line- for me US economy should trade at a premium and that it will do- on short side my levels a couple closes below 980 today was first you may visit 962 a bad news take you to 948 - does market have potential below it- lets see how things evolve I remain that most of surprises will be on upside. On the up 992 1000 couple of tests and run to 1050- SOX a break of 280 takes you to potential 250 but 320 visiblity is intact even from that low point. Bonds acting exactly the way I had written since last 20 sessions will erode market strenght but watch out this selling may be 'flight' money searching for new home- the signal of softness in bonds may create weakness in broad market but like always we will be fooled- bond weakness is quite legitimate and will ensue in market strenght.
