Who needs manufacturing and real business? Offshore the accounts, get some QE going then sit back and watch. Get a job in Europe advising governments on spending too much on lazy constituents and some get some real austerity going.

Any solution to all this total f**king SH*TE has to include the following. Get rid of all the bankers and the financial services sector or at least 80% of them. In the UK ... "The City" would be a great place to start. Get people working in real jobs, there is plenty to do sustaining a UK population of approx. 70 mil. A 40% reduction in "the city" would be a great first step. I betcha a new solid currency, or currencies, would be emerging at that stage and the rest of the problem would take care of itself.
