Putting target & bullseye on my butt.....but I've been shot before. I like 3 com. I use their components in our network server. I have a USRX/COMS modem, and wouldn't switch for anything. I also like money. Just becuase COMS pre-announced doesn't mean squat, IMO. I can recall a quarter ago when MSFT pre-announced. Bill Gates himself said the MSFT "whisper numbers" were ludicrous. SO what happened? MSFT annouces RIGHT ON what they said....the stock goes from $145'ish to $130 the same day. I knew what the number would be, anyone who could read knew what the number would be. But the Wall street guru's were "shocked". My own gut hunch, (which isn't worth much), says the Guru's will again be "shocked". Why? Because they cannot comprehend the word "honesty". COMS has been up front & honest. Analysts just do not seem to be able to deal with this. My cheap, modest bet is COMS drops on 12/19. (I lose a lot of bets). If it does, I'll use the money to buy stock before one of the Wall Street elite changes their opinion to "undervalued at current levels." Doug
