New FDA guidelines are posted ( I recently posted) and they are very clear and specific patient must have a diagnosis the day of the exam. Well if you use the wrong instrument because its cheap you are busted or should be busted. And if you report false positives which you are required to do to the FDA and you will with xrays of any kind digital or virtual or whatever YOU ARE BUSTED again. Won't take a genius to see who delivers quality care and who delivers cheap care....we all know uneducated women don't care right so don't sweat it... however the man in the mirror knows better. This is the battle and time may not be on our side but xray anything will not endure. For one thing they had to up the radiations limits acceptable to FDA this month and that is so they could ramrod digital xrays with far more ionizing radiation than ever. Younger women of child bearing ages don't need any of that... I know there is big biz in xray anything but MRI will find its niche. Or a lot of good work will go for naught. Digital xrays give me two minutes and I will give you a Cancer... right... good show. Give me some crappy nonsense and my star wars program will draw a circle around it... right... they my remotely guided robot will go in with star wars precision and excise perfectly good tissue traumatizing the ladies and leaving scars and cancer all over the place... but Hey they are cheap what the hell...its ONLY for the women anyway..us guys know better righttttt...... last time I looked at 3-d xrays they were encased in a lead cabinet.. luis
