Thanks for trying to provide an answer to my question. But what idiot would short DCTC at this depressed level? I'm inclined to think a large holder was forced to sell for some reason. (Divorce, tax loss, to settle an estate, to cover a margin call,.....who knows?) How does one know for sure that it was someone going short? Is that level of information really available out there on a day to day basis? I know that monthly short figures are available, but I didn't think short activity was that readily available on a daily basis. George
