Michael-
I post here and read here to learn, so as to better my chances of making good investment decisions.
Reading my posts, you may know that I have a distinct distaste for dishonesty, irresponsibility and disingenuious hype. Friends and associates know me as solid and loyal, a man of my word.
As a striving mortal, I gladly acknowledge my many errors (whether I find them or they are pointed out TO me - since it is how I learn and grow) and both ask for and offer forgiveness for them as appropriate.
I expect this in myself and respect it in others.
Best regards and luck, Michael-
Steve
For the heck of it, some favorite words (that I use to REMIND myself):

I am too alone in the world, and not alone enough to make every minute holy. I am too tiny in the world, and not tiny enough just to lie before you like a thing, shrewd and secretive. I want my own will, and I want simply to be with my will, as it goes toward action, and in the silent, sometimes hardly moving times when something is coming near, I want to be with those who know secret things or else alone. I want to be a mirror for your whole body, and I never want to be blind, or to be too old to hold up your heavy and swaying picture. I want to unfold. I don't want to stay folded anywhere, because where I am folded, there I am a lie. And I want my grasp of things true before you. I want to describe myelf like a painting that I looked at closly for a long time, like a saying that I finally understood, like the pitcher I use every day, like the face of my mother, like a ship that took me safely through the wildest storm of all.
- Rainer Maria Rilke (translated by Bly)
++++++++++++ #1
I live my life in growing orbits which move out over the things of the world. Perhaps I can never achieve the last, but that will be my attempt.
I am circling around God, around the ancient tower, and I have been circling for a thousand years, and I still don't know if I am a falcon, or a storm, or a great song.
- Rainer Maria Rilke (translated by Bly)

JOY
Let a joy keep you. Reach out your hands And take it when it runs by, As the Apache dancer Clutches his woman. I have seen them Live long and laugh loud, Sent on singing, singing, Smashed to the heart Under the ribs With a terrible love. Joy always, Joy everywhere-- Let joy kill you! Keep away from the little deaths.
- Carl Sanburg
